Salty pays a call at House Silenti

::It had been two days since Salty had met the black warrior at the Bath House. Salty had no doubts that the man was a warrior and would be a formidable foe for any warrior that Salty had ever fought. Indeed, Salty himself knew he would much rather fight at the man's right hand, than face him in battle.

It was late in the day, a slight breeze had come up and it was now possible to breathe without one's lungs seemingly on fire with each intake of air. His straw hat was suffering badly from the high humidity of Schendi and his robes and breeches hadn't felt dry in several days. He looked at the svelte form of his kajira as she stood just behind him, naked, her sweet form glistening and so very tempting. He smiled, reached out and caressed her face, then turned back to speak to the guardsman at the gate. "Tal guardsman, please send word to your Master, the man called Arculeius that he has a visitor. I Shall wait for him under that large tree across the road" Salty said, pointing. Without waiting for the guard to reply, Salty crossed the road and sat down under the tree, his kajira sitting just behind him.

The guardsman looked a tad puzzeled. "And what is the name of his visitor sir?" the guard called out to Salty.

Salty looked at the guardsman and grinned, "Greedy, just tell him Greedy is here to see him". Salty snapped his fingers and Tara came quickly to kneel in front of him in a very lovely and tempting nadu. "take the water bota from my pack, I am thirsty." Tara gave him a most tempting smile and moved close, reaching over his shoulder, opening the pack and deliberately rubbing her breasts against his chest as she retrieved the bota. "Shall your beast hold the bota for you master while you drink?" she purred softly into his ear.::

When the guard came and informed Arculeius that a man calling himself Greedy was outside the gates the dark skinned man rolled his tongue against the top of his mouth and laughed. He had not taken the man's name, but his calling card brought his face to mind. Moments later he was outside looking at the man taking shade under the large palms with his slave. The day both hot and humid, same as the day prior and the one before it. Arculeius wore a large grin.

"I'll take this as a sign that Greedy has decided to take my offer?" It was not a bad bid, still more than he paid any of the other hired guards, but it was less than what Salty had asked.

Once the man agreed, both warrior and his slave were taken into the house and given a tour by Arculeius himself. The place had gone through months of renovations after it's near decade of decay and now looked presentable enough to be a house of a merchant. The rich tapestries displayed vibrant colors to match the tribal culture. The large garden the house was centered around was now in full bloom and ripe with the fragrance of the tropics. The kitchens held and even more abundant scent, spices and fried fish gave the nostrils a run for their money. A room to the back of the house, but still on the main floor was the last stop, it was small with little detail, but came with the position. Little did Salty know how short his stay would be.
