We are a group of Players that are withering under the lack of Gorean Role Play out there. We want more and we're willing to work for it.
Some people are fearful of organized storylines because, frankly, they have been screwed in the past. We have received quite a few questions about this as we have begun putting our storyline out on the Gorean wire and we hope this post will be answer enough. If not feel free to instant message Amanita Vernia or myself, Sssee No Evil.
The main focus is the storyline, The Eye of Nyoka. We do not consider ourselves a unified group that will be cranking out new storylines in the future. We gather together in order to role play. That means that yes, although some of us know one another from other storylines, this group is not a clique. Our doors are not closed to new entrants nor does knowing someone get you an automatic welcome. Everything is based on the qaulity of your roleplay and your dedication to the storyline.
The backdrop for our story line begins in the port City of Schendi and continues into the Jungles of Gor. We realize there are groups of Players that role play in both Schendi and the Jungles. Our storyline is not a threat to their turf. We are not claiming ownership of these territories nor are we subjecting our storyline under theirs.
The structure of The Eye of Nyoka Storyline may be different than you are used to. The main storyline's premise is a treasure in the heart of the Jungles of Gor, hidden in a lost City. That is just the tip of the iceberg. The player of Amanita Vernia and myself will be running the neccessary NPC's, twists and turns and generally keeping the storyline on course. We expect, no demand, that the other players toss in their two cents, evolving rich side storylines that may or may not impact the main one.
What we WILL do:
Play NPC's to enhance the RP.
Describe the background.
Toss in conflicts, twists and turns.
Interact our characters with other characters.
Delve into our own characters voraciously.
What we WILL NOT do:
Preordain the ending to the storyline.
Preordain what will eventually happen to your character.
